Finally I happened to see this movie entirely last night….I cant believe that Heat is in IMDB top 250…this movie definitely doesnt deserve to be there….Man its not even a good movie…its pretty average….What could have been a great cat and mouse game with 2 biggest star turns out to be quite a damp squid…..

No problems with the performances…its good…good starcast also with val kilmer, ashley judd, tom sizemore etc…along with 2 daddys….but a lot of time is spent in explaining the background of the characters and its done in a very boring way…A ridiculous and long shootout happens in bright daylight when a bank robbery goes wrong… The dialogues in the midnight coffee scene where Deniro and Pacino meet is very lame…..Even Dhoom 2 coffee scene is better than this…….

There were some scenes which are brilliantly picturised…but there are only handful of those in other wise average movie…..On entertainment quotient ..even Dhoom 2 is better than this…atleast got to see brazil and bipasha in a bikini….

I feel the songs of RACE were not picturised to the best of the capacity of its music… Badly choreographed as well…

On the other hand, songs of TASHAN were picturised well, inspite of unimpressive music… (Though Saif’s dances were questionable here too!!)

Dil Chahta Hai was a trend setting movie. The style of the characters, feel, emotions etc. were so different from rest of the movies. It was the first movie to be shot with sync sound system and it created a great impact in achieving the human emotions right. Be it the Aamir Khan’s goatie or the curly locks of Preity, the film was path-breaking in many ways. Some beautiful compositions and we got Farhan Akhtar as a debutant director and Shankar Ehsaan Loy as debutant music directors in the film industry.

Like Gharana, Ghar ghar ke kahaniyan, Khandaan, oyar ka mandir,
dariya dil, jaise karne waise bharni, bhabhi.. and many more..
other hand we can say that govinda, rishi kapoor and mithun were the lead star at that time for same kind of plot.

but some time later anil kapoor, amir khan changed the plot summary of movies.
