1920 “” the movie”"

friends,

i watched 1920 the movie show timings 10:45 pm yesterday…. and was pleasently surprised to see a decent horror indian hindi film.
the film “for a person like me who watches some 50 movies an year” it was an above average entertainer and that too after 3rd grade attempt by RGV.
what is so disappointing is the irresponsible feedback from the so called internet based film critic “i am talking of raja sen from rediff.com”.
how can they just right any trash and get away so easily….

i don’t know about others and i respect their feedback, but my take on the movie is like this:
decent watch, it manages to scare you, the location suites the bill perfectly, actress possessed is too good. a very very good attempt going by “the so called history and legacy of horror , we have in indian cinema..”.

film should be appreciated and the effort should be acknowledged if not applauded, as it has some loose connections. worth a dekho in the night time slot.

hey ppl have ur say on hollywood n bollywood sense of music!!
as is it there on the topic, hollywood gt great music. n bollywood has great songs. in bollywood, lyrics r very important ( or it use to be earlier / read kishore, rafi, lata). bt music in bollywood aint very gud.
hollywood… great music. simply.. dont have anyhting else to say.. simply great music.
yup man.. its individual perceptions! earlier i used to listen to only desi musci… bt after listening to sum english songs.. i really liked it. john denver, bob marley, guns n roses .. thy r amazing. n ofcourse in bollwood u gt jagjit, indian ocean, a r rehamn.. they rock!!
For me…only Hollywood..!! Pure Hollywood songs..!!
infact i m anti-bollywood.. wit few exceptions..!!

Review on picturization of hindi movie songs
Add your suggestions as well.. how better it could have been made …
Interesting forum!
I feel the songs of RACE were not picturised to the best of the capacity of its music… Badly choreographed as well…
On the other hand, songs of TASHAN were picturised well, inspite of unimpressive music..
. (Though Saif’s dances were questionable here too!!)
i think the picturization was well taken care off…they were placed well in the story so lukd gud!! specially Barso se Megha Megha….
 matched to the music nd lyrics!!

Jaane Tu Ya Jaane Na Review
I Have Just Watched The Morning Show………Its Awesome.The Movies Has All The Emotions That We Love…Its Complete Youth Entertainer.Imran and Genelia Really Rock.

I think th songs of th movie are amazingly popular.
Maybe u need to listen to FM or go out more often.
It wasn’t suppossed to be a Mother India, it ws projected as a college romance and tht wht it is- a full paisa vasool!
4 out of 5 any day. Movie is ok. Could have done better if all songs in audio album filmed as songs were very popular & would have worked as connecter………
the movie is simple - has some nice comic moments, but in all lacks thrill. doesn’t evoke emotions. plain jane. won’t regret it either ways - if you watch it or if you don’t.

Indian war movies have not really been up to the mark.

Even if Dutta’s Border brought the emotions and lifestyles of soldiers to the forefront, did any of the characters actually look like soldiers?

Soldiers don’t sport long hair……..they are very toned and lean built due to daily rigorous routine etc.
Some basic but important facts that were overlooked in Border.

Prahaar was not a war movie
but they had done a lot of homework on soldier training and lifestyle.

Lakshya was also good, excellently directed by Farhan. It was more of an individual’s mental and physical growth as a soldier, but very convincing.

AAMIR V/S SRK V/S SALLU
WELL, SALLU is nothing!

so who is the best in BOLLYWOOD AND why: AAMIR OR SRK?

BOTH have given blockbusters, classics, critically acclaimed performances! both are amongst the heighest paid actors in INDIA!

both have a huge fan following in INDIA AND ABROAD!

boths films appeal to the classes!

so who is best and why: AAMIR OR SRK?
ALSO TELL WHY?

Srk’s films are always good at the Box office reason being ppl like him a lot and so lots of ppl watch his movies and so they get hit status..

For me AAmir and Salman are better any day..Awards seriously dont count especially Indian Awards which are totally biased..Any Yash chopra,Sanjay Lella Bhansali,Karan johar movie will win awards every year even though better films were released that year…Salman is good in Action,Comedy as well as in romantic role but aamir and Srk are not good in action..

So Salman also is really good…In par with aamir
