IPL Mean no bollywood films

IPL plus Strike = no bollywood films

Bollywood has timed their strike at the right time, it is going to be a double blow for the Multiplexes, it was exactly during this time last year that both multiplexes and bollywood found out to their suprise that IPL which came from nowhere was getting the largest eyeballs. nothing was bigger…

1 year hence, bollywood after having learnt its lesson has thought of a very smart way of handling this IPL season, It has used IPL season 2 to settle its age old battle with the Multiplexes on profit sharing!

So, let me put this to the group… Bollywood vs Multiplex war who will win, or does it even matter,, as long as their is IPL!

-English movies will be releasing as scheduled..

I don;t understand..why other states do this… i m in Noida and there are 3 mutliplexes here, WAVE, BIG CINEMA’s and PVR… and nobody, i repeat nobody ever increases their rates Be it any movie.. i saw Ghajini for 150 on a preview show on Wednesday..

This one time i had travelled to ‘Pune’ and was stunned to see.. Chandini chowk” tickets were sold for 250 that is crazy… in Kolkatta i saw Billu Barber.. the ticket rates were 270.. you got to be kiddin i said!

I mean you take your family have something to drink, popcorn… 3000 bucks gone…

Compared to Rs270 for a normal seat if 300 gives you a recliner,
blankets,pillows and good space to keep the food..which is of course served at your seat.. I think its okay to tag it “awesome”.

What more should they keep there for it to be okay to
be called “amazing”…A Microwave?

@Warren

Good for you…regarding that Gold class that opened at Inorbit last year.

Just dont make the mistake of settling for the front row.

Its too close to the screen and I almost lost my ears when I saw
Sarkar2 there, whenever that “govina govinda” music played.
All the seats cost the same anyway (Rs400 including some dumb food coupons)
