Bahar
The first film i saw was Bahar, the first hindi film of Vyjayanthimala. vy. started in Tamil films under M.V. Raman’s direction at AVM with Vazkai/ Jeevitham (1949) a bilingual and later adapted as Bahar (1951), which was AVM and vyjayantimala’s initial foray into Hindi Films. The song ’sainyaan dil mein aana re’ sung by shamshad begum n picturised on vy. along with other songs like ‘left right’, are popular even today. the movie was a hit, as well as the songs n of course vy. never looked back.

one interesting thig is that dev anand also debuted in hum ek hain …

Her first film was with her husband Himanshu Rai,in the movie “Karma” 1933…….
the story was a simple one, with a surprising fact that it had a kiss in it!!
no one objected because it was her husband who was her on screen hero

Dilip Kumar and Usha Kiran sing a song. Dilip Kumar sings loudly while Usha Kiran sings in her mind. It is an excellent piece where a married woman can feel her love but cannot express it.
