Tere Naina – Shafqat Amanat Ali Khan – the band member of the famous pakistani band Fuzon last time struck the magic string with Tum Mile Rock version and Mitwa from KANK – is back with the new romantic number from KJO’s next My Name Is KHAN.

Tere Naina is definitely not a typical Karan Johar love song as Shanakar Ehsaan Loy add sufi touch to it. It is an instantly likable and catchy song. This might be the only track in the movie that Shahrukh lip syncs for. After the start, the song slips into Qawwali mode. This song has a great chorus with nice orchestration and tablas. Violin mixed with the dhapli beats the song with its romantic interlude mid way parts to the qawaali and fix a taal wih tabla .

As all songs in this movie are situational. You can catch Shahrukh peeping from the other side of the parlor glass for Kajol in that lovely blue dupatta, with a guitar and a hoarding hung like a school water bottle saying “MARRY ME “.As the song name suggests Tere Naina, Kajol with her dark black eyes does the magic and how can you expect Kajol without that heavy Kajal that too in a KJo movie.Shahrukh looks cute with his new hair style little bit of it in the front gelled upwards which by the way is cut that Kajol give her in the movie. His new body language, new expressions and a new walk. Now that is just what you can not afford to miss as he is no more swinging to trees, romancing in the see dancing on the pyramids and holding heroine ka dupatta in this song, unlike his last one with Kajol in Suraj Hua Maddham from K3G.
